Gemma Fassie unveils her latest single, “What You Want!”
This powerful track captures the essence of clarity in the aftermath of a breakup. Infused with the authentic sounds of 90s R&B, it draws inspiration from iconic artists such as Janet Jackson, Aaliyah, and contemporary influences like Victoria Monet.
The title itself reflects the urgency for transparency in relationships where love remains, yet the need for independence and self-love takes center stage. Co-written by Fassie and Rehsa, and executively produced by Yoshi, the single combines a vibrant pop undercurrent with a message about the joy of confronting difficult emotions.
As Gemma shares, “Even though I’m heartbroken, I’m learning to find myself while navigating the unknown. I’m content with this journey of self-discovery.”
